Mount Seymour, located in North Vancouver, British Columbia, is just 13.6 miles (22 km) from downtown Vancouver and gets almost 400 inches of snow a year!

The base of Mount Seymour sits in the Canadian Rockies at 3,313 feet (1,010 m) and summits at 4,953 feet (1,400 m) above sea level.
The terrain across this vertical rise of (330 m) is on 39 trails. There are 200 acres of skiable terrain at Mount Seymour, with many more in off-piste terrain.
Five lifts (three double chairs, one double tow-rope, and one magic carpet) serve the area, which includes three terrain parks. Night skiing is available on 12 of Mount Seymour’s trails, plus the terrain parks.
Overall, the terrain is broken down as 40% novice, 40% intermediate and 20% advanced/expert.
Snowshoeing can be done on 6.2 miles (10 km) of marked and maintained trails. Guided snowshoe adventures with a naturalist can be reserved for groups. Head to the Snowshoe Adventure Centre for tickets to the Discovery Snowshoe Trails and for further information. Snowshoe rentals available!
Snow tubing and sledding are other popular activities at Mount Seymour. It has four dedicated snow tubing lanes Enquist Tube Park and eight toboggan runs ready for lots of outdoor winter fun!
Head to the Alpine Activity Centre for the mountain’s rental shop, ski & snowboard school, and retail store. Full ski and snowboard gear is available from the rental shop. The ski school offers classes for students of all ages and abilities.
When it’s time to refuel, head to the Three Peaks Lodge. They have a restaurant at 3,346-feet (1,020 m), as well as a cafeteria and cozy dining room open to those who brought their own brown bag lunch.
To reach Mount Seymour, cross the Second Narrows Bridge and take exit #22 to the Mount Seymour Parkway. Follow the signs to the provincial park and turn left at Mount Seymour Road (in front of the Mohawk Station). Follow the road for about 15 minutes to the top of the mountain and the resort.
