Canadian Rockies Shopping in Banff, Alberta

Banff National Park, Alberta

Banff is the kind of town that can deceive you. Yes, it is small and a haven in the Rocky Mountains but it is also packed with little secret spots. Pubs, hotels, sightseeing, activities and of course shopping are all tucked away somewhere. As a man who was brought up in a family of four women, I know that it doesn’t matter where you decide to take your vacation – the shops will always be found. This is why I have decided to cut out the middle man and inform you where you will find most shopping success before you even arrive in beautiful Banff.

Need some new gear for your bike? Banff has it all!

The obvious and touristy shops can be found all down Banff Avenue and Bear Street but there are some slightly hidden gems in this little town. The Sundance Mall has some great options for clothing and more importantly cheap alcohol but if you are looking for everything under one roof, look no further than the Cascade Plaza Mall. On the corner of Banff Avenue and Wolf Street, it has tons of options to choose from for both men and women of any taste.

Under the one roof, there are clothing shops like the Gap and Westrock, art shops, book shops, car rentals agencies, restaurants and the only major food court in Banff. It is the kind of place that you could walk into planning to spend a few minutes and leave three weeks later laden with bags! Visit our shopping section to see a full list of the options open to you!
