Field, BC lies in the heart of Yoho National Park just at the foot of Mount Stephen and on the banks of the Kicking Horse River. Being at the heart of an awesome Canadian Rockies national park is just as awesome as you would expect it to be.

Field is surrounded by the amazing Yoho National Park.

You´ll find that Field, BC has stunning mountain scenery, with lots of wildlife, nearby trails for hiking, mountain biking, backpacking and camping. Lakes and rivers near Field provide great opportunities for fishing, rafting, kayaking and canoeing.

Winter time in Field, BC, is also fun. world famous Canadian Rockies ski resorts like Lake Louise and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, BC offer some of the Rockies best skiing, just a short distance away. Field, BC is conveniently located, just a 2 ½ hour drive from Calgary, Alberta. The Trans-Canada Highway takes you from Calgary through Banff National Park, passing Lake Louise on your way to Field.
