Mount Baldy is located between the south Okanagan towns of Oliver and Osoyoos, just minutes from the Penticton Airport in British Columbia ski country.

The area in the Canadian Rockies is known for its dessert wines and excellent skiing.
Baldy is famous for its dry powder, sunshine and consistent snow conditions thanks to one of Canada’s highest base elevations (5,665 feet/1,726 m).

The 35 runs at Mount Baldy are spread across 500 acres of trails, including 240 acres of glades and tree runs. The overall vertical rise is 1,500 feet (457 m). The longest run is about a mile (1.6 km) long.

The resort receives an average of 255 inches (650 cm) of snowfall each year. That’s over 20 feet of powder! The average temperature is 23 F/-5 C, so you can be sure that it won’t melt anytime soon after it falls. Make fresh tracks and find powder stashes all day long at this uncrowded mountain resort!

Thursdays are especially great snow days because the resort is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They call it Big Pow Thursday, and you’ll call it incredible.

The terrain is broken down into 29% easy, 41% intermediate and 30% difficult trails. Mount Baldy also has a terrain park, cross-country skiing/snowshoe trails and a toboggan hill- fun for the whole family!

The rider-designed terrain park is now on Sugar Lump, and is stocked with jumps and rails. After you get comfortable with your tricks, come and show off your style at the annual Mt. Baldy Slope Style Jam Session!

Mount Baldy’s Nordic Centre is a great place to spend a day cross-country skiing on groomed and track-set trails. If you like things a bit more on the wild side, head to the area’s 12.5-mile (20 km) network of marked, ungroomed trails.

The Snow Sports Centre at Mount Baldy is home to the snow school, rental shop and repair shop. Sign up here for lessons which range from basic to expert. Group and private instruction available.

And any trip to Mount Baldy isn’t complete without a trip to the legendary Baldy Bar. Après ski cocktails, great food and a laid-back atmosphere are the perfect combination for a late afternoon meet up and rehash of the day’s events with friends and family.
