Tying the knot in the Canadian Rockies assures that your wedding will be set in a stunningly beautiful landscape, surrounded by the power and simplicity of nature.

You and your wedding party will love all the outdoor activities around Banff National Park and the towns of Banff and Canmore, and your wedding photographer will love you!

With all the visually amazing sites, your wedding photos are almost guaranteed to be spectacular. Imagine Lake Louise in the background or any of the impressive peaks in the area, and you’ll put to shame any garden or church steps shot.

Canmore is a good choice for a wedding venue, with scenic sites that are also convenient to get to. The area is only about an hour from Calgary International Airport.

The town of Canmore has an eclectic mix of locals and visitors and a variety of pubs, restaurants and shopping. The vibrant town often gets repeat visitors because of its charm and its close proximity to Banff National Park.

Banff National Park was Canada’s first and if famous for its natural hot springs and magnificent mountain landscape. The entire park is a photographer’s dream come true, with never ending possibilities, great backgrounds and surreal blue mountain lakes. The park is situated just 1.5 hours from the Calgary International Airport and 30 minutes west of Canmore.

Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada is one of the most stunning sites for a wedding venue. The small village is framed by the Rockies, huge glaciers and magnificent turquoise waters. Although the area is rich in nature, it is without any big nightlife, shopping or restaurant options.

Transportation options are plentiful and easy from Calgary to most areas around Banff. Ground connections to Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise include shuttle service, limousines and rental cars.

If you choose to drive, you’ll be traveling along the Trans Canada Highway, which is also known as Highway 1. It is a scenic drive that winds through gentle foothills and through passes of the big mountains in the Canadian Rockies.

Weddings in the Banff area become total life experiences to share with that special someone. There is nothing like the power and tranquility of the Canadian Rockies!
