There are many trails available for hiking in Glacier National Park. The Lake McDonald Region of Glacier National Park offers a scenic surrounding valley and a beautiful lake with many hiking trails to choose from.

Hiking in the Two Medicine Region is an adventure, as you’ll be exploring a secluded, unspoiled region of Glacier National Park. You’ll see cliffs, waterfalls, and of course, caves!

For those that want to see the best of the best, the most popular hiking in Glacier National Park is located in Logan Pass. Here you’ll find the visitor’s centre and plenty of hiking trails that will satisfy any Canadian hiking enthusiast.

Whitewater Rafting in Glacier National Park

The Flathead River attracts tons of whitewater rafters every year. With three forks (Upper, Middle, and North), and varying whitewater rafting classifications (Class I – IV), there’s bound to be a whitewater rafting trip that’s right for you and your family on your Glacier National Park vacation. The Kicking Horse River in British Columbia is also a great whitewater rafting river for beginner and intermediate rafters alive!

Fishing

If whitewater rafting isn’t quite what you had in mind for a day on one of Glacier National Park’s rivers, try fishing instead! With several fishing lakes to choose from in Glacier National Park, you can’t go wrong.

Glacier National Park Camping

Camping in a natural historic site is a treat that not many get to enjoy. Admire the Selkirk Mountains while staying at the Illecillewaet Campground, the Loop Brook Campground, or the Mount Sir Donald Campground. There are several Montana Glacier National Park campgrounds to stay in as well.
